The Graziani Family has its roots in these houses that have been turned into an agriturism. These houses are rich in history, and have still have tools and things that have been put in the two parts of a small museum. One is dedicated to the equipment of the ex mill and larger agricultural tools. The other is of smaller objects preserved in the family for years.
The objects show us a past the passage of time and a different culture. With today’s so called progress we can reflect on how it was possible to live without our everyday comforts. It is interesting and fun.
A place is also dedicated to an authentic Finnish sauna.
Having personally experienced the benefits of a Finnish sauna the owner wanted to have one, so Mr Timo Haake a Finnish friend was asked to build one. The wood and components all come from Finland.
The old cellar that took up all the ground floor of the building is always cool and today hosts the dining room of the restaurant with a large log fire.
The inside is cosy and welcoming and offers a traditional cuisine. The locally grown and seasonal produce, prepared with local olive oil and served with excellent Italian wines.
The restaurant will open on season 2010.
Great care and attention was paid to the construction and situation of the pool. it is only a few steps away in the large garden making it very private. It is in the centre of the residence, a place to relax, or exercise, a fun place to meet up or make new friends and exchange ideas.
